Are you looking for the best financial advisor near you. Well client review website Vouched For has just published its list of the Top-Rated financial advisors for 2025.
This year 2,633 financial advisors feature on the list which was published in The Times on Saturday 25th March 2025. That’s an increase of 909 financial advisors using the review platform since last year when 1,724 advisers featured on the list.
More advisers will be joining this year as national firm Perspective has just announced that all its advisers will be joining the platform in order to display their client reviews.
So, why is Vouched For so popular
It’s popular because it’s now a trusted platform for genuine client reviews.
I turned 55 today, so I can now access my pension if I needed to. But where would I turn for advice?
Google is probably the most common place people would look. If you Google best financial adviser near me, what would you find? If you Googled that locally to me, you’d first see the usual sponsored adverts. But then when you looked at the most popular results on Google, you’d find Vouched For right up at the top of the list alongside Martin Lewis’s Money Saving Expert website. That shows you just how popular Vouched For now is.
If you look a little bit further down the list, you’ll probably see search results for my website as well www.ccfps.co.uk that’s because Google also rates my website highly due to the number of client reviews and testimonials.
How does Vouched For work
The Vouched For website works by verifying reviews from financial advisor’s clients. It does this by checking directly with the client that the review posted is genuinely from them. Last year over 60,000 client reviews were posted on the website representing clients form over 1,300 different financial adviser firms. A true reflection of where to find the best financial advisor in your location.
You can read all the advisers client reviews both good and bad to help you decide who to contact. A new filter has also just been added to the website to allow clients to search for female financial advisors. With women only making up 15% of advisers, this is an important tool.
What’s our rating?
This year we have a total of 344 verified client reviews on the Vouched For website, with an overall rating of 4.8/5.0 which we are delighted with. Those reviews mean that we have the 14th highest number of reviews out of 2,633 advisers featured across the UK. In terms of the advisers in the North West we are ranked #3 by number of reviews. We are not saying that we are the best financial advisor in the North West, but we are certainly valued by our clients.
That’s the key to our rating of course. The value that our clients place in our advice and service and the fact that they are prepared to take the time out to write us a review online. Overall we now have over 400 reviews on our website from clients.
The Times publication.
We are proud to once again feature on the list. This is the seventh year that the Top-Rated guide has been published in The Times, and we’ve featured in every one of those years. The website launched back in 2014, and I was one of the first financial advisors to feature on the website and in their first Top Rated list which originally only featured the top 250 advisers.
The Guide in The Times shows how many client reviews an advisor has received overall. It also shows how many years the adviser has featured in The Times and whether the adviser is Independent or Restricted. There are far more Independent Financial Advisers featured than Restricted advisers, which is good news.
The Guide then indicates whether the adviser’s fees and charges are published on their website. The majority are not. We find this strange as we have always published our charges on the website. We think it’s important to be transparent and allow clients to do their own research and comparisons. The two things clients mainly want to know is what we charge and whether we can be trusted by looking at our reviews.
I’m not sure why you would hide your fees?
