Once again, we are proud to announce that Christina Clegg Financial Planning Services has achieved the status of Vouched For Top Rated Financial Advisors for 2026.
This is the thirteenth year running that we have achieved the accolade, stretching back to its inception back in 2014.
On Saturday 21st March we featured in the Vouched For supplement published in The Times newspaper. The supplement contains details of all the Vouched For Top rated Financial Advisors who qualified this year.
To qualify every firm had to achieve a minimum of 10 verified client reviews posted on to the Vouched For platform. These reviews form the back bone of the scheme which provides potential clients with access to an advisor who has demonstrated a key level of trust with their clients leading to a review.
This year 2784 financial advice firms featured on the list a record. 10% up on last year. With 364 verified client reviews we are one of the highest-ranking advice firms in the whole country.
This year our reviews meant that we were ranked #16 out of all 2,784 advisors and #4 in the North of England, based on the total number of reviews on the Vouched For platform.
A figure and an achievement that Christina and the team are enormously proud of.

Verified Reviews
In a world where it’s estimated that 50% of online reviews could be fake, it’s important that schemes like the Vouched For Top Rated Financial Advisors accolade have controls in place to check the validity of reviews.
This is done by separately confirming e mail addresses of clients making reviews and gaining additional confirmation of the review. This is particularly important after the introduction of the Digital Markets, Competition, and Consumer Act 2024 last year which specifically banned the use of fake reviews online.
We verify all our Google and Facebook reviews ourselves. It’s pretty easy to do as we’ve never had a review from someone who isn’t a customer!
But we do appreciate that Vouched For offer a first impressions review opportunity for new clients after attending their first meeting. These can be useful reviews to help prospective clients understand what their first meeting will be like and what to expect.
Overall Rating
Client are asked a series of questions as part of their review and rate various aspects of their experience out of 5.
This year we got 4.9/5 from our new reviews. All time (since 2014) our rating is 4.6/5. We are delighted with our ratings. It reflects honesty from our clients and their feedback allows us to improve our service in certain areas.
We would probably consider a rating of 5/5 over a large number of reviews as suspicious. Nobody is that good and all clients are individuals and see things differently. So be wary of ratings which look too good to be true. Not necessarily on Vouched For but across all types of social media platforms.
