Andrew Stephenson MP and Michelin star chef Tom Parker were in Barrowford on Friday 18th January to help us celebrate the official opening of our new offices.
Christina has been a financial adviser for over 25 years now and self-employed since 2008. She established Christina Clegg Financial Planning Services (as a directly FCA authorised business) in 2016 to provide Independent Financial Advice to clients in the Burnley and Pendle area. The business has grown quickly and now employs eight staff in the new offices on the Riverside Business Park in Barrowford.
Christina is proud to have grown her business so quickly locally and delighted that six of her team are women, in what is often seen as a male dominated industry. Christina is a keen advocate of financial services apprenticeships, having been an apprentice herself back in the 1980’s has supported Trainee Financial Adviser Josh Brooks over the last four years and most recently new administration apprentice Leah Makin, supported by Nelson & Colne College.
She was delighted that Andrew Stephenson found time in his busy schedule to help celebrate the office opening and also her good friend Tom Parker, who created some amazing canapés for the 40 or so guests.
