Personal Finance Society Conference 2019

Article by Phil

Christina and Adele were in Birmingham this week attending the Personal Finance Society annual conference. This year’s theme was safeguarding clients and business.

This annual event is always a good opportunity to catch up on the latest industry topics and to meet with product providers and other financial advisers to share ideas. With a busy agenda, Christina and Adele attended a number of sessions including: Planning for an exponential era, DB transfers – achieving good client outcomes, emotional intelligence – the key to client engagement and the importance of working with vulnerable clients. They were also hear the opening address by the Chairman of the European Financial Planning Association of which Christina is a member.

Although the conference is a long day, there is time for a bit of fun and Christina was keen to take part in the putting competition! Both Christina and Adele also got the opportunity to have a half hour face to face discussion with delegates from the Financial Conduct Authority, which was very useful.

The quality of service from Adele and everyone at the company was excellent, in fact the service we received was better than that.

Mr & Mrs F

We have always found Christina to be reliable and honest. We value her services because nothing is too much trouble and she is never too pushy.

Adele was wonderful! She explained everything and made us feel at ease at all times. It was wonderful to deal with her.
