Car Park sign fixed at last

Article by Phil

We’re very pleased with ourselves this week because we’ve managed to fix our damaged car park sign.

A couple of months ago we arrived at the office only to find that someone had reversed into Christina’s car park sign and almost flattened it!

This has been causing Christina some embarrassment ever since because she thinks that everyone thinks that she was the one who reversed into her own sign!! (she swears it wasn’t her)

Anyway, we’ve been wondering what to do about – a new sign not being cheap – when Phil happened upon an idea to pull it back upright. The only problem being that no one had a tow bar on their car, that was until friend Steve Brooks got himself a new car, with a tow bar. So on Tuesday (with lots of interested workers on the business park looking on) Phil and Steve attempted to straighten the sign using a borrowed tow rope.

After a good impression of the Chuckle Brothers “to me – to you – to me – to you” lo and behold it worked and the sign is now back to its former glory. Phil and Steve were very pleased with themselves as lifelong pen pushers this was a triumph for them!!
